Stand your ground.

Ever made a decision in a group that seems you are the only one taking that decision?
I remember one event that can slide from my memory so quickly.
It was in a contest in school.
There were three guys that everyone knows they are the "brains" of the school, so they were always chosen to compete for the school.
One day during an intra competition to know who will represent the school, we were asked random questions.
A question was thrown to one of the three "brains" one said the answer and the rest agreed he was correct, without confirming, the quiz master gave them the mark as correct. I objected that it was wrong, and in my little voice whispered my answer.

They laughed at me and said I can't possibly be correct, without checking, almost everyone said the former answer is correct, should be correct.
I said no, it's not in a small voice that was soon to be overwhelmed by the angry faces.
Then I ask them to confirm.
When they did, they looked at me with such stunned.
Then one came to me saying

you did well for standing on your answer.

There are times everyone is going a particular path, it doesn't mean that's the right path.
There are times when your decision would upset a lot of people, but if it's true and your heart is right, stand for it.
Be brave, irrespective of the bad words or eyes thrown at you..
Stand on your ground.

Good morning

Same thing applies to doing the right thing at the right time for the right reasons. If one person in a group of friends had the courage to stop the others from doing wrong, think of how fewer people would be in prison.
