Hey Steemians!

Week 46 of #zencolouringcontest starts now!

Each week I will provide a stencil to be coloured in with no restrictions on the medium used, with a chance to win 45% of this posts payout and the weeks' donations for 1st place.

To add a little twist and interaction within the community, there will be a featured colour each week, picked at random from entrant's choices. This colour must be used in some way in your interpretation (use as little or as much of the featured colour as you like).

The featured colour this week is Green

The contest will run week to week, to provide enough time for entrants to colour in the pattern. It's Zen for a reason!

Wednesday 3rd, 15:00 _GMT - 'Winners Showcase' post
Tuesday 9th, 15:00 _GMT - 'Week Ending' post
Tuesday 9th, 18:00 _GMT - 'New Week Starts' post

Colour the Stencil in any way you wish.
Any medium is accepted, digital, traditional or otherwise.
Must UPVOTE and RESTEEM this post.

This week the inspiration for the stencil came from patterns and designs of ancient wall carvings such as the Aztecs made. Many designs from such a period were tessellated in nature and very intricate while at the same time being quite symmetrical. Inspired by the shapes and designs I had come across while researching patterns for reference, I set about creating this intricately patterned shape that ended up looking like an ancient coin or token.

I hope you all enjoy colouring this one, I cant wait to see what creativity you all come up with. Thank you too all for making last weeks contest a big success, we received entries from many newcomers to the contest and had a few returning participants from previous weeks!
