M Zohri only finished seventh in the 100 meters final of the 2018 Asian Games
Sprinter Indonesia Then Zohri failed to win a medal in the 201 meters of the 2018 Asian Games athletic event despite winning a personal best in the final which took place at the Bung Karno Main Stadium, Jakarta.
Even though he finished seventh, then Zohri broke his personal record with 10.20 seconds. It was five seconds faster than the time when he won the World Junior Athletics Championship in Tampere, Finland, some time ago.
Gold medal won by Chinese sprinter Su Bingtian with a time of 9.92 seconds. That is a new record at the 2018 Asian Games.
He broke the record 0.01 seconds faster than Femi Seun Ugonode from Qatar at the 2014 Asian Games. Ogunode himself won a silver medal at the 2018 Asian Games.
Third place won by Japanese sprinter Ryota Yamagata with a time of 10.00 seconds.
Previously, Lalu Zohri qualified for the 100 meters men's final of the 2018 Asian Games after finishing second in the first semi-final at the Bung Karno Main Stadium.
Zohri managed to record personal best time in the semifinals with a time of 10.24 seconds. The 18-year-old striker finished behind Saudi Arabia's Mohammed Abdullah Akbar with a time of 10.21 seconds.
