The Diary Game: A Thursday In My Life (08-01-2026)

Good evening guys. How are you all doing? I hope you had a great day. I'm here again to share my diary with you. Today, I woke up and headed to church for clean up. When I came back, my children were still in the bathroom so I hurriedly went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. I had some work I brought home to do but I couldn't because I was really exhausted. I just went through it for a while before going to make breakfast.

Myself

I didn't have much time so I fried some plantain and yam. I dished out for my kids and went into the bathroom. When I came out, my kids were about to leave. I called their bus driver several times. When he finally took the call, he told me he won't be coming to take them to school. I was really upset because he would have made the decision on time and I would have made preparation for that. I had to take them to school and I was running out of time.

Breakfast

When I got to the office, our manager was already on sit. I went in to explain to her why I was late to work. She didn't seem upset but she wasn't happy about it. I apologized and left. My table was already arranged so I said my prayers and sat down.We had some clients waiting at the Customer Care Service and my Colleague in charge was not around, so I had to stand in for her.

At about One O'clock in the afternoon, she came back and took over from me. In a way of appreciating me, she got me food. I was really grateful. I thanked her, got my food and went back to my office. When I got to my office, I had a lot of files pilled up in my cabinet to work on. The whole process of transferring and recruiting new staffs is a lot of work for me but I have to keep to it.

Files I had to work on

I had my lunch after working on the first ten files. I wanted to make sure, I had finished with all the files. It became too late and I had to go home to my kids. They were invited for a birthday party of one of their friends. By the time I got home, they were already dressed up and ready for the party. I ordered bolt and we all left.

The party venue

The party had already begun when we arrived, but I'm happy my children were eventually part of the party. The played games and ate. I'm happy they had a wonderful time. I was really exhausted but I just let them stay a bit and enjoy themselves. We left the venue at 7pm. I had my shower when I got home. I made sure I ate before going to bed.
