Short Story: Remorse (A soliloquy)
Been a while, I guess that's the twist in our friendship (the ghosting on each other).
Well for you I have an admiration which lingers on in my blood stream even though the fondness in our friendship has gone astray.
Just like a movie my imagination runs wild trying to recreate the swell times we had together but actuality always sets in to my fictitious scenario as the warmth is never there.
In as much as it has been difficult for me to completely commit to that heated passion I have with you, due to my insecurities and inability to see past them.
My heart will be in constant ache if I lose the friend I have in you.
So I will come clean and say this despite our recent differences I miss talking to you in those true lines, the smiles, the laughs, the games and the twist! Your vocal absence and detached perspective has impaired my rational mind.
Human feelings at times are conflicting and blinds the heart to the true state of things.
Some feelings are better left plane. I hope this appeals to your rational ego and flare a beam of grin in our friendship.
This is fantastic. It feels like a note to self hoping she'll get to see it or read it. However, we both know she may never get to know this thoughts.
