Weekly story writing contest - week 2 result & week 3 new challenge | don't stop writing!

Hello friends,
How are you all? I hope that by the grace of God, you are all well and healthy. I am also well with your prayers.

I have mixed feelings while writing this post today. Last week, I started the second part of our "weekly story writing contest" with great enthusiasm. Seeing the spontaneous participation of all of you in the first week, I thought that we would get something more exciting in the second week. But sadly, I was quite disappointed this week. Because I did not get any entries from anyone except one participant.

To be honest, I was a little disappointed to get such a low response, but I am not a person who stops. I believe maybe the topic was difficult, or you were busy. However, I cannot return empty-handed to a friend who did not disappoint me. So, let's first announce the results of last week and then move on to the new stories of the new week.

Weekly Story Writing Contest - Week 3

Let's break the silence of last week and start this week with new enthusiasm. I know there is a writer hidden within all of you. You just need to open up the world of imagination a little.

This week's theme or topic is: "The Unexpected Gift.

As always, I am writing the beginning of the story; the rest is up to you to finish. This time, the beginning is very simple, but the ending can be scary, joyful, or emotional.

"It was almost 11 o'clock at night. It was raining heavily outside. Rimon had just returned from the office and was lying on the sofa, exhausted. Just then, the doorbell rang. Who could it be at this time of night? As soon as he opened the door, he saw that there was no one there, only a blue gift box was lying in front of the door. There was no name or address on the box, only a large red inscription - 'For your past mistakes...'"
