A riddle is a certain type of challenge, game or mental pastime, in which a person, or a group of people, is offered a riddle, formulated in a punctual and specific way, to try to find its solution. The term is also used to refer to something that is extremely complicated or problematic.

For this new initiative by fellow @bambuka from the World of Xpilar Community, all participants are invited to develop a riddle using macro photographic techniques, where we present a part of an object, without being able to be identified immediately, certainly a guessing exercise through an image.

Within my personal archive, I have some photos taken recently using the Macro mode of my current cell phone, a Samsung Galaxy A12, which indicates that the object must be located at a distance of 2.5 to 3 cms. from the lens, in order to obtain the sharpest possible image.

I chose the photo of an insect perched on a tiny yellow flower, and I cropped it as much as I could to show only a part of it, and this is the image I present as my participation in this new photographic challenge.

I have no doubt that many of the participants will be able to guess what it is without much trouble.

Un acertijo es cierta modalidad de reto, juego, adivinanza o pasatiempo mental, en el que se le ofrece a una persona, o un grupo de personas, un enigma, formulado de manera puntual y específica, para que intente dar con su solución. El término también se utiliza para hacer mención a algo que es extremadamente complicado o problemático.

Para esta nueva iniciativa del compañero @bambuka de la Comunidad World of Xpilar, se nos invita a todos los participantes a desarrollar un acertijo haciendo uso de las técnicas macro fotográficas, donde presentemos una parte de un objeto, sin que pueda ser identificado de forma inmediata, ciertamente un ejercicio de adivinanza a través de una imagen.

Dentro de mi archivo personal, tengo algunas fotos tomadas recientemente haciendo uso de la modalidad Macro de mi teléfono celular actual, un Samsung Galaxy A12, el cual indica que el objeto debe estar ubicado a una distancia de entre 2,5 a 3 cms. del lente, con el fin de obtener una imagen lo más nítida posible.

Escogí la foto de un insecto posado en una diminuta flor de color amarillo, y la recorté tanto como pude, para mostrar tan sólo una parte de él, y es la imagen que presento como mi participación en este nuevo desafío fotográfico.

No tengo dudas que muchos de los participantes podrán adivinar sin muchos contratiempos de que se trata.
