Cross
The cross is one of the oldest symbols used by mankind. Its simple geometric form, consisting of two lines crossing at right angles, and the ease with which such a design can be reproduced makes us understand the reasons for its widespread use throughout the world.
Although it is the Christian symbol par excellence, since it represents the sacrifice of Jesus, other religions have also adopted it as an object of veneration.
I took this photograph some time ago in the so-called Plaza La Cruz, located at the intersection of Libertador Avenue and Juan de Dios Ponte Street in the nearby city of Cabudare, which according to available information was built in 1856.
As I have described in previous publications, I used the editing tools offered by Picsart and Snapseed applications to intervene the original image to my satisfaction.

La cruz es uno de los símbolos más antiguos empleados por la humanidad. Su sencilla forma geométrica, constituída por dos líneas que se cruzan en ángulo recto, y la facilidad con la que se puede reproducir tal diseño nos hace comprender las razones de su uso tan ampliamente extendido por todos los confines de la Tierra.
Aunque es el símbolo cristiano por excelencia, ya que representa el sacrificio de Jesús, otras religiones también la han adoptado como objeto de veneración.
Esta fotografía la tomé algún tiempo atrás en la denominada Plaza La Cruz, ubicada en la intersección de la Av. Libertador con la calle Juan de Dios Ponte de la cercana ciudad de Cabudare, la cual habría sido construida en el año 1856 de acuerdo a la información disponible.
Tal como lo he descrito en publicaciones anteriores, usé las herramientas de edición que ofrecen las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed para intervenir la imagen original a mi entera satisfacción.
