Coffee Time

Coffee is a beverage obtained through the infusion with hot water of the roasted and ground beans of the fruits of the coffee plant. It is one of the most commercialized and traded products worldwide, as well as being among the three most consumed beverages by human beings, together with water and tea.

It is usually drunk during or after breakfast, although it can also be drunk on different occasions and at different times of the day, and even at night. It is ideal to engage in conversations, and in many countries by custom or tradition it is shared at family gatherings, and for these and other reasons, coffee is one of the most frequently used non-alcoholic beverages for socializing.

Earlier this week, I received a surprise visit from the older of my two sons, who along with his brother and mother live in a different and distant city from mine, for which he requested a temporary leave of absence from his job.

During his brief stay of just 3 days, we had the opportunity to share and catch up, and the coffee we had in various local establishments, served to strengthen our bond as father and son.

As I have described in previous publications, I used the editing tools offered by Picsart and Snapseed applications to intervene the original image to my satisfaction.

Tiempo de Café

El café es una bebida que se obtiene mediante la infusión con agua caliente de los granos tostados y molidos de los frutos de la planta del café, conocida como cafeto. Es uno de los productos más comercializados y cotizados a nivel mundial, además de estar entre las tres bebidas más consumidas por el ser humano, junto al agua y el té.

Suele tomarse durante o después del desayuno, aunque también puede ser tomado en diferentes ocasiones y a diversas horas del día, e incluso, de la noche. Es ideal para entablar conversaciones, y en muchos países por costumbre o tradición se reparte en reuniones familiares, por estas y otras razones, el café es una de las bebidas sin alcohol más frecuentemente utilizadas para socializar.

A principios de esta semana, recibí la sorpresiva visita del mayor de mis dos hijos, quien junto a su hermano y su madre viven en otra ciudad diferente y distante a la mía, para lo cual solicitó un permiso temporal en su trabajo.

Durante su breve estadía de apenas 3 días, tuvimos la oportunidad de compartir y ponernos al día, y el café que tomamos en diversos establecimientos locales, nos sirvió para reforzar nuestro vínculo como padre e hijo.

Tal como lo he descrito en publicaciones anteriores, usé las herramientas de edición que ofrecen las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed para intervenir las imágenes originales a mi entera satisfacción.
