TOMATOES
This fruit originated in Ecuador, Peru and northern Chile, which despite being fruit is usually consumed as a vegetable, is one of the easiest foods to cultivate and is usually common among those who begin the adventure of creating a home garden .The difference between the taste of a tomato grown at home and that of which we often buy in the supermarket can be abysmal.
Its health benefits lie in the high amounts of nutrients, such as potassium and phosphorus, as well as antioxidants and vitamins A, C and E.
According to a recent study, it is a "functional" food since, beyond its nutritional function, it benefits the organism, preventing chronic diseases, such as heart problems, diabetes or cancer.
It is important to plant it deeply, since it develops long and abundant roots. And leaves closer to the ground are prone to diseases, so they must be eliminated regularly.

CARROTS
Another one of the easiest vegetables to grow, and with high nutritive properties, is the carrot. In this case, the most important thing is to maintain the humidity of the earth, although once they begin to grow they can distance themselves more from the risks.
Carrots are rich in vitamin A, antioxidants and dietary fiber. It is often said that it is good for the eyes but, also, if it is eaten raw it strengthens the teeth and the gums.
It also helps fight constipation and invigorates tired minds.
They can be planted throughout the year and grow without great difficulty.

PEPPERS
The best time to plant this vegetable, native to Central and South America, is spring, since it is sensitive to cold.
To grow them you need to have a sunny terrain, planting the seeds at a distance between plant and plant between 40 and 50 centimeters and maintaining a constant watering.
The peppers-green, red and yellow-contain nutrients such as folate, thiamine and manganese, and are rich in fiber and vitamins C and B6.
They also contain a substance called capsaicin, with analgesic effects.

SPINACH
Both spinach, cabbage and broccoli are relatively easy to plant at home.
In the case of spinach, they can be grown in small orchards, separated by about 30 centimeters apart, or by scattering the seeds in pots.
It prefers rich and humid soils, although it can grow on any type of soil, as long as it has enough organic matter.
It needs little heat and sun.
It is a very advisable food for its high nutritional level, although its consumption is not recommended in high doses, because it has oxalic acid that can lead to kidney stones
However, it has many properties and is a potent anti-inflammatory. It has neurological benefits and helps regulate blood pressure and improve metabolism.
And it is very durable: it can survive the winter and be consumed in the spring.

PEAS
Peas, also known as pea or peas, provide many minerals (potassium, phosphorus, calcium, iron), fiber, sugar, carbohydrates and proteins, as well as vitamin A.
It is a food indicated for diabetics and helps eliminate cholesterol.
It also has a tranquilizing effect, beneficial to the nervous system and to falling asleep.
They can be grown mainly in autumn, in a cool climate, without too much heat, and they adapt well in all types of soils.
In addition, doing so will improve the structure of the soil, as they fix nitrogen to the soil, so you can continue to expand your home garden.

TIPS ON SOWING VEGETABLES
If the space you want to use to disseminate vegetables, is the garden of your home, study how much space you can use. You can run this planting with materos as this would save large space of your home, the planting can be one or two seeds depending on what you want to plant as there are foods that are very large like pumpkin and can become very unruly .
It is recommended to place in each pot three (3) seeds of the vegetable to be disseminated, with the purpose that when it begins to bear fruit, harvest the most beautiful possible and can discard the rest that does not serve for food, or for the business you have.
Another great advice on how to plant vegetables is to look for an area in which you receive at least six hours a day of intense sunshine, you should also bear in mind that the area should not be too cold or very hot, as temperatures below from 5 to 10 degrees or above 35 in summer will harm your crops.
Another case to consider is the wind that is not very close to the orchards, so you should look for a sheltered area or if you do not put elements that protect our plants.
Another advice on how to plant vegetables is that they require constant care as many plants, such is the case of the pumpkin, so for your planting you require a matero of at least 20 centimeters in height, however, it can also be more great for its best development when starting to bear fruit.
