#Ulog No.20 The Job that Welcomes You with Open Arms!

Hello #Steemians and #Uloggers! Mabuhay! Maayong adlaw!

It is said to be the job that welcomes job seekers with open arms. No age limit (of course 18above), and whatever educational level you have, you are welcomed and accepted here!

This is the job that for the first 5 years it is the most difficult job. So much sweat and tears for 5 years one has to go thru. One usually starts seeking clients, by walking under the hot blazing sun, or walking thru damp and cold rainy days ( "halos mapudpud ang swelas ng sapatos" as the saying goes ). But then it is the most rewarding job after you have passed through those 5 gruelling years.

I have experienced that, looking back year 2000. Sometimes you meet agents who will 'pirate' your accounts by offering clients with rebates! But i dont do that. I will tell my clients that the money that you want me to rebate is the money I worked for to buy and bring food at the table for my family. I told them that I will give you a much lower rate and that is better! By and large its a rewarding job as you patiently work with perseverance.

I am a Non-Life insurance agent and I'm proud of it. One thing nice with being a Non-Lifers as we are called, compared to Life insurance agent, is that we have complete control where we will place the account and what provider we will book our clients. We are also treated well by our providers. Always offering coffee upon your arrival at the office and with all smiles!

Of course , as a licensed Non-Life Insurance agent, by Insurance Commission law, we are allowed to have as much as 10 providers to book our accounts. But we usually end up to have at least 3 chosen good and friendly providers.

In Non-Life insurance , it's on how fast the provider can process claims. When there is an accident, as an agent, we have to move fast to the satisfaction of our clients. Being slow will risk of loosing that account since motor and fire insurances are renewable every year.

It all depends now on how fast an insurance provider will act on our request too. Of course should they act slow, they will risk of loosing that account because we will book it in another provider the following year! It's a symbiotic thing you know, 'the give and take' principle. But first and foremost is to serve our clients to their full satisfaction and therefore give them peace of mind.
