Earning Friends and Losing them
When you meet new people in work and work hard with them. Build a team, have fun with them and create difference.
Yes, DIFFERENCE. A change. Making unusual thing from past where you were snobs at each other because you don't know them yet and they felt the same. Then came work and you had no choice but to collaborate with them.
You worked with them harder to compete but you find yourself helping each other. Encouraged them when they were at their worse. Noticed that you were actually having memories with them and you were enjoying it. You worked and exchanged jokes and laughters. And you learned from each others' stories.
Seems life will be boring without them at work. Then months or years past. Each of them are slowly fading. Some were distributed to other sites or team and rest were resigning.
Worse when some of those resigning are your friends you learned to cherish and beloved. You just acted shocked and sad while your heart inside is breaking. You grieved silently. Imagining next days, weeks and months without them anymore.
Separation anxiety as many people call it is. The fright deep inside your heart to have them NO MORE. Imagining losing them at work and slowly , losing them in your life.
