My last description of Krakow's curiosities. ( more places to visit, poem, photos )
Hello my Dear Steemers,
I invite you to the last post about magical Kraków. I am waiting impatiently for your report on the enormity of events that will be soon. I wish you many impressions and new ideas.
It was a great pleasure to write for you posts about my beloved Krakow. May you have the best time and let this moment not pass, let it continue !!!
Kraków is loved by Poles and foreign tourists. It is undoubtedly a showcase of our country, which has been fascinating for centuries. Kraków is full of great places. :)
Krak's stronghold is in the heart of every Pole.
Here are some interesting facts.
Here are some interesting facts.
The Jagiellonian University, also called the University of Cracow, was founded in 1364 from the foundation of Casimir III the Great. These universities ended many outstanding Poles such as Nicolaus Copernicus, Jan Kochanowski, Jan III Sobieski or Stanisław Lem. The current president Andrzej Duda is also a graduate of the Jagiellonian University. The Jagiellonian University is the oldest university in Poland and one of the oldest institutions of this type in the world.
An extraordinary parade in which dachshunds and their owners participate is a curiosity of the city. Every year, fans of this breed come to Krakow to exchange their experiences and praise their four-legged friends. Not only Poles come to Krakow on this day, but also many lovers of dachshunds from Europe
Krakow is a beautiful city with a rich range of attractions and entertainment for young people. It is not surprising that the capital of Małopolska has been loved by students. Krakow attracts not only young people from Poland, but also from abroad. Students from Italy, Spain, Great Britain and Germany come here most willingly. Most of them go to Krakow as part of the Erasmus student exchange program. Krakow, right after Warsaw is the most-chosen city in which young people want to graduate from the university
Krakow has one more reason to be proud. Few people know that this is the first city in Europe to be inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. This decision was made during the committee meeting in Washington in 1978. At that time, 12 objects were put on it, and among them only two urban complexes - Cracow with Wawel, Stradom and Kazimierz, and Quito from Ecuador.
A clock on an old church tower
I can admire visible things,
and invisible only to believe ...
because my heart beats really,
like a clock on an old church tower.
HAVE FUN !!!
