The desires of the heart

Psalm 20: 4 (RVR1960)
4 Give you according to the desire of your heart,
And fulfill all your advice.
In the world we are very vulnerable to feelings, especially when we are in situations where we have to choose and do not know how to do it; Our heart wants something and our mind tells us something else.
Controlling our thoughts is sometimes very difficult and sometimes almost impossible. This happens because in most cases we let ourselves be controlled by our emotions or impulses, which mostly leads us to lack God. The reality of everything is that our mind is the main battlefield in spiritual warfare. The enemy will always use his powers to try to control our mind, sowing in it bad ideas or thoughts that take us away from the presence of God.
Thoughts that one way or another we must control, reprimanding and replacing them with pure thoughts, otherwise they will lead us to sin.
If in prayer God does not give an affirmative answer to our prayers, it is probably because we are not asking according to his will. We should not do anything on our own trying to achieve what we want. To rebel against God by not doing his will will cost us much more than we can think.
God takes care of us generously, but that does not mean we can expect him to give us everything we want. Only when our dreams align with his plan, God will make it happen.
We could say that in God's law we are responsible for our feelings and desires as well as our actions.
We will be punished for evil thoughts and desires. Facts that seem good will bring us blessings only when we put them into practice with a sincere and just intention. On the positive side, we will be blessed by the desires of our heart even when some external circumstances have made it impossible for us to transform our desires into deeds.
Sometimes we have to look deep, think and meditate until little by little we realize that we are passionate about things and if we would do them the rest of our lives without complaining. Everything you propose can be achieved. We were created to express God and glorify Him through the ability to unlock our enormous potential.
Psalm 145: 19 (RVR1960)
19 He will fulfill the desire of those who fear him;
He also will hear their cry and saves them.
