Hello brothers of steemchurch god bless you all this is my first collaboration to help with all the Steem Power to establish SteemChurch Philippians.
This is one of the traditional foods of philippians.
Lumpia Shanghai is a popular pillar in Filipino food gatherings and on special occasions. In different sizes of bite and served with sweet and sour sauce, they are the perfect appetizer for steemchurch bingo.
With this recipe makes approximately 50 pieces that are perfect to feed a large crowd or to store for future use. The lumpia keeps well for months in the freezer, just keep it in resealable bags and then thaw it when you need a quick solution for this project.
Lumpiang Shanghai was filled with ground chicken, water chestnuts and green onions. Golden, crunchy and fun, these spring rolls of meat are absolutely addictive.

Ingredients

2 pounds of ground chicken
1 cup green onions, finely chopped
8 ounces of water chestnuts, finely chopped
1 large carrot, peeled and crushed
6 cloves of garlic, peeled and chopped
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
1 1/2 tablespoon of salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
50 pieces of spring roll wrappers
canola oil

Instructions

In a bowl, combine chicken, green onions, water chestnuts, carrots, garlic, soy sauce, salt and pepper until well distributed.
Separate wrappers into individual sheets. On a flat work surface, place the wrapper like a diamond.
Put about 2 tablespoons of meat mixture in the middle of the wrap.
Fold the lower pointed end of the wrap over the stuffing. Fold the side ends of the blade inward and screw them firmly into a log about 3/4 inch thick and 5 inches long. Wet the pointed edge of the wrap with a little water to seal it completely. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
In a skillet over medium heat, heat about 1 inch of oil. Fry the lumpia in batches, turning the sides as necessary, until they are golden and crispy and the meat is well cooked.
Remove from the oil and drain into a wire rack placed on a baking sheet. Serve with sweet and sour sauce or ketchup.
