Past Mistakes
Romans 8:1-11 “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.”
(Romans 8:1) When we fail, the best we can do about it is to admit that mistake, or even better would be to take corrective action in order to change and not make that mistake again.
Mistakes are not to stay there or to regret them all our lives, on the contrary, the actions after committing them are to accept, correct, change and of course move forward. I always say that even if nobody calls our attention, even if they don't let us know what we are doing wrong, our duty is to analyze our actions and determine what we may be doing wrong.
Starting over will never be a bad decision, that is why we must not live anchored in what we have already experienced, mistakes must remain in the past in order to start what we want to achieve on the right foot.
Even if someone reminds you of something bad that you have done, you forget it and continue and if that ever comes back to your mind then it is just for you to thank God for getting you out of there.
There will always be a new opportunity, whenever we live we will have the opportunity to change, if we anchor our faith in God, even if it is difficult for us, He will give us the strength to continue and change. And if we fail again, He will pick us up again and show us the way forward.
He who does not walk according to the flesh but in God, will always be able to obtain new mercies, to start over, cheer up and throw everything into the past, start over, and may only God be your model to follow and your strength along the way.
