Why do we sometimes find it hard to read the Bible? - 20% of this post is in support of the Heartchurch community.
2nd Timothy 3: 14-17
14 But you persist in what you have learned and persuaded yourself, knowing from whom you have learned;
15 and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which can make you wise for salvation through faith that is in Christ Jesus.
16 All Scripture is inspired by God, and useful to teach, to convict, to correct, to instruct in righteousness,
17 so that the man of God may be perfect, fully prepared for every good work.

Beloved brethren the most important thing is to know the word of God, read it and understand it and we only do that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Here we can see a letter that Paul sends to Timothy where he tells him to beware of false prophets and lets him know how proud he is of him in terms of doctrine and discipline of the word, he called him his faithful servant, because he was very dedicated to the things of GOD.
Timothy lived in love with the word of God and that is what the Lord wants us to do. Timothy was taught from an early age a passion for reading the scriptures and so why in this day and age it is so hard for us to read the Bible may it be
- Because we have not been taught to read the Bible with fervor, with passion, but sometimes we see it as just another book. But the good thing is that it is never too late to learn, we just have to dispose in our heart and then we will receive more blessing from God.

Timothy learned to have a habit of communion with the word, he was a disciplined man to read the word of God and sometimes we fail in this.
- Because we are more given to the lived experiences than to the discipline of having a time to read the Bible, with this I do not mean that the supernatural experiences with the Holy Spirit are bad, on the contrary, they mark us, but we must study and learn from the word of God, because through it we form our character.
We must learn to know the scriptures not by spontaneous moments, but we must learn to know the scriptures through the daily habit of walking through them and thus we activate the spiritual senses and expand our spiritual understanding to the word of God.
The Word of God is Supernatural.
