EVERYDAY STEEMIT-#2 - FACEBOOK VS STEEMIT - why Facebook is still winning and what steemians can do to avert this future threat

Good day everyone one, and welcome to my blog every day steemit episode 2

Steemit

many minnows would define steemit as a social media like facebook that rewards content creator's.

whales will define steemit as a social media that runs on a blockchain and rewards content creators.

why i would define steemit as a platform that reward content creators through the form of blogging,commenting and upvoting original contents.
in what so ever way you define steemit it is right as long as the word "content creator" is there.

but i have a problem calling steemit a social media,

reasons

• steemit does not have the characteristics of a social media instead it has the characteristics of a blogging platform

• steemit is an advanced form of WordPress, WordPress allows users to like new blogs or make comments on blogs that appears on bloggers field.

steemit has every characteristics of WordPress but unique in its own ways as it runs on a blockchain,

differences - while bloggers are waiting for payouts through ads on their sites for traffic and all that.
steemit rewards content creators after seven days provided the votes are from whales cause minnows votes naturally feels Useless.
(how the platform works)

• steemit doesn't have a direct messaging platform integrated into it unless you communicate with other users externally.
  some of the apps and websites many steemians indulge in communicating privately like discord, steemit.chat. but generally all social media does(Steemit having a private messaging is not going accordance with the word decentralized) that's why steemit. chat doesn't run on the steem blockchain and not an open source (my personal guess)
  but it would be nice if steemit has a pm.

• steemit has already characterized the users in the order of good better best

• • minnows
• • dolphins
• • whales

meanwhile we should put in mind that steemit is still in its prime and very young.

lots of development and works are still be done by the dev team, so steemit has a lot of features that would be put in place and also adjustments in the future.

while many users sees steemit.com as a social media and others don't,
kindly follow me then lets talk about the great Facebook and it's social media platform.

Facebook

Facebook is a social media that rewards you with only LIKES/COMMENT for your contents either original or be it plagiarism, nobody cares once its love by the crowd you get rewarded with LIKES, COMMENTS and VISIBILITY and all that social media bossy title meanwhile the facebook founder and team gets all the juice.
yet users login in thousands and seem happy with their social activities even when lots of them know steemit exist and pays you in steem currencies that can be converted to raw cash for your contents.

Facebook came into existence in the time when mailing was the boss of the day and many users fell in love with the whole concepts of Facebooking as its a lot faster and expose one to the world even till date

(do you know the power of first love? )

it will make you feel void, sad, until you go back to her/him even if the second love is giving you the world.

Difference between Facebook and steemit

• on Facebook everyone has the power to make your post go viral

• but on steemit only a single whale could just boast your post and you become the man at that moment

• Facebook has a Massager integrated for instantly private chats and important discussions, flirt activities also :(smile) .

*Steemit rewards every of your activities on the platform, from upvotes, comments and blogging , Facebook No.

• on steemit,whales act as a dictator, as a god but on facebook nobody gives a fuck of your opinions, you like you like you don't ,then fuck off.
• steemit runs on a blockchain, Facebook runs on a Scam chain (the ads is just way too much)
  *Facebook has lots of users, steemit is trying to catch up but with the way steemit whales are dedicating for minnows and the facebook trying to work out a Facebook token mmmh

steemit in the future might have users more than Facebook with users not utilizing or even using the platform but stick to where love is shown to them,

in general sense steemit might get a lot of users than Facebook but users account Dormant because of account inactivity.

Facebook a threat to steemit existence

many of us already might have heard the news about the probability of Facebook running on a blockchain in the future, the ceo and founder already said and talked about his new found love for the blockchain and in case you don't know this a big threat to overall steemit existence.

if this should happen then we should expect the facebook token to worth more than what any coin Worth's, steemit might be seen as golos and golos to oblivion

Facebook platform becomes a godover all social media and facebook wins for ideas of other's (Lovely isn't it)
if Facebook starts rewarding its users and facebook token is use for running any ads on the platform, (chuckles,) you know what that means right.
Facebook gets a lot of ads by different organizations,companies, you name it.
once Facebook token is the only asset to run an ads then the world will fell at he's feet, yes i mean him, yes at his feet

even the whales spoiling this platform like Flagging post that ain't supposed to be flagged,not up voting quality content but will upvote there fellow friends own with low quality will run to Facebook when it gets a token, i can bet on that, they are all bunch of hypocritical whales

How steemit.com can can survive this great battle

steemit is a great platform, the best i have ever seen, the best part about steemit is the way it fights plagiarism, ways bot can be integrated to it, i fell in love with this website on a first sight and on our first date,
and i promised to make it a better place for you and for me with the help of whales or not.

steemit is supposed to be a site that rewards content creators etcetera.
but what we find on the platform is different, whales don't even go to the extend of discovery new good contents, what they do is using steemvoter to set up their votes for old-timers friends or other whales even if the content is worth that votes or not.
they do this automatically and don't even bother checking the contents and others reply with same altitude of setting their votes for them making the minnows in search and begging for upvotes as even their quality contents don't get more than 0.10.

• go to a post made by a whale check the list of voters you do be amazed how we have so many whales who love whales show loves to. whales*, if this same love is shown on minnows,
  the future of Facebook wining against steemit can be averted.

when you make a complain, you would hear use it as a social media, the votes is just a bonus Wtf - !!!!!!!!
you don't mean this, what are you are saying, so the votes you got on your post you mean to tell me is just a bonus (don't be ridiculous)
i know about @dan guy always Declining payments on every of his post why can't you?

like all minnows, many whales are also here for the money in fact we are all here for the money, the steem, the sbd.
the name steemit can be synonymously be interpreted as money
the introduction of steemit said rewards content creator's and its didn't say *just do it for fun and the $upvotes are just bonus

lets don't be hypocritical please 😁.

if steemit rewards content creators dear whales why are you guys rewarding your selfs, go around and scout for new minnows that have good contents to offer.
yes put them on your steem voter even if voting weight is set on 0.98 imagine the minnow sported by 5 whales and upvote him 0.98 also, you are encouraging every minnows.
stop lining up on a whales post, stop crowding your votes.

it's your steem power and yes we know its yours and you got powers with steem powers, help minnows give them hopes keep this platform strong, kindly search for minnows rather than finding new whales you want to up their posts.

remember with out money nobody will be rich and with out minnows on this platform, you guys won't be a dictator
dictate with responsibilities cause the future of steemit depends on what the whales does to the minnows,avert this threat of the tyrannical fight between steemit and facebook in the future ,
