Sonadia is a small island in Maheshkhali upazila.

There is no better place to see the sea than this island, where sea turtles still come to lay their eggs, thousands of red crabs roaming in the sand.

The only village on the small island has no buildings other than a cyclone center. As a child we used to imagine the village to draw a village scene, the nature here is just as beautiful, like the picture. There is no sound except the sound of the seaside wind.
