A SOLDIER'S CRY

a soldier is holdin' a girl in his arms, there is blood everywhere
he is cryin' cuz she's dyin', but the other soldiers just don't care
they have orders, there is no room for feelings
they smokin' and laughin' in the time when he's still tryin' to stop the bleedings
seconds later the lil angel in his arms has closed her eyes
he realize, all what they told him were nothin' but lies
there was a time when he was proud to protect and serve
find and kill terrorits, to give them what they deserve
all what he wanted is to be a hero
now he can't even look at himself in the mirror
he sees a monster, not his face
afraid of nightmares and darkness in the army base
he thought all what he was doin' was a good thing
today he knows that the real terrorist is him

can you hear me cry, can you hear me scream
can't take this any longer, the pain is extreme
i lost my faith, i lost my trust
when we leave a city, there is nothin left but dust
we don't give, we just take
we are the dark angels, the glory is fake
can you hear me cry, can you hear me scream
they are haunting me in my dream

fire and smoke, every day innocent people must die
monsters are real, old greedy men with a tie
the sun is gone, you can see black clouds in the sky
terrifyin' things are happenin', the tears are never dry
he was a part of it, a part of this sickness
doin' what they told him, he was not just a witness
many buildings were destroyed and many lives taken before he knew
before he finally saw the real picture, his anger just grew
there are questions, but you must wake up to see the answer
the war zone is the stage and he is the evil dancer
that's far from protectin' your country, it's pure barbarity
you get medals for bein' a criminal on humanity
he is holdin' now a gun, there was just silence for a while
then he pulled the trigger and he saw the lil girl, with a smile
