Greetings, Coringation travelers!

It's been some time, and I hope you and the ones close to you are well. Yesterday, December the 16th of 2025, marks exactly thirteen years after Corinthians won against Chelsea and became the FIFA Club World Champion.

It was not an easy match at all: the Player of the Game award was given to Cássio, our legendary goalkeeper, which is an example of the complexity of the match.

The English team pressured a lot in the start of the match. Our defense had to do some miracles, I still get nervous just by thinking of the balls saved just about over the line. But the most iconic moment was the save by Cássio on an amazing finish by Moses.

And then Jorge Henrique fought for a ball on the right side of our attack, and managed to pass the ball to our midfielder Paulinho; he conducted the ball along the box, and let it go for Danilo to fake a shot, and finish on top of Cèch. The ball went up, and while three Chelsea players went to the goal line to try and defend, while our giant Paolo Guerrero headed it: the ball touched the bar from the inside, and died within the goal.

GOAL FOR CORINGATION

And the rest is history.

I truly love this photo. Fernando Torres learned the real meaning of what is to have people supporting their team as does the Fiel Torcida

And after the FIFA World Cup Finals match that happened a few hours ago today, when PSG defeated the Brazilian club Flamengo in the penalty shootout, our dear Corinthians remains as the last non-European to win the title.

Coincidentally or not, I was playing FIFA with my dear cousin JV yesterday. Or should I say "I was playing EA FC?" Anyway, I found it really funny that the way we celebrated Corinthians was by signing Guerrero to Burnley in our Career in the game.

Yes, we were Vincent Kompany

Finally, I have to state that today, in about two hours, the first leg game of the Copa do Brasil, the Brazilian Cup, is happening between Corinthians and Vasco da Gama.

After a thrilling qualification in the semis against Cruzeiro, when our gigantic keeper Hugo Souza caught the two last penalty kicks of the shootout, today we fight the first 90 minutes inside our home stadium, the Neo Química Arena.

Let's pray for Coringation, we decide on the last game in Maracanã, Sunday the 21st.

Great video reposted by "CortinasCentral" in twitter, showing the entire play of the goal from Cássio's initial goalkick. In the end I was a bit confused of the initial part of the decisive play, since Paulinho just actually passed it beautifully to Jorge Henrique who did not conducted it, but actually just passed it back to Paulinho just as he received it. What a moment!
