Since the seventies of the last century, experts believe that man has really impacted the planet with his industrialization or intensive agriculture among other practices, leaving a mark on sediments, atmospheric chemistry and other aspects of the terrestrial environment, hence the name Anthropocene derives from the Greek anthropos (man) and kainos (new).
Desde los años setenta del siglo pasado los expertos creen que el hombre ha impactado realmente al planeta con su industrialización o a la agricultura intensiva entre otras prácticas, dejando huella en los sedimentos, la química atmosférica y otros aspectos del entorno terrestre, por eso el nombre Antropoceno deriva del griego anthropos (hombre) y kainos (nuevo).
During all this time, experts have been debating when this new era could begin, placing it in the period between the Industrial Revolution and the launch of the atomic bomb in 1945, and they base their argument on the fact that human activity has given way to a new geological era defined by its footprints on the environment.

Si bien es cierto que el ser humano es un poco guarrete tal vez sea un poco exagerado echarle la culpa de un cambio tan importante en la historia de la Tierra.
De todas formas a nosotros no da un poco igual, Antropoceno o no mañana tendremos que volver a trabajar.

Ese nombre es el mismo musiú con diferente cachimbo como dicen por acá.
Estoy de acuerdo que el cambio que ha hecho el hombre con la industrialización ha sido insignificante para considerarlo como el causante de una nueva era.
