Lately, I have been giving shares of Steem Basic Income to a multitude of people that I think are awesome and would like to further support not just with my upvotes but also shares of Steem Basic income to ensure that none of their posts will be zero.

I would not say that I am 100% altruistic here because when I sponsor them I also gain a share thus also increasing the value of its upvote to me.

This contest that I will host was inspired by @snook. A couple of weeks ago we were doing our regular Talk with Terry Steemgigs show (Still an unofficial name!) which I happen to moderate and help in making sure that the show proceeds with as little interruption as possible.

The show lasts about an hour and 30 minutes on which Terry talks about Steem, Curation, the power of a Steemit power and he also talks about life and all it's hardships and triumphs.

He makes that show as a means to speak to a lot of people and also answer some questions that they may have. Yet most of all he uses it as a medium to inspire people to not give up on their dreams.

Going back to @snook about 23 days ago she stumbled upon the show because of @dynamicgreentk and she was confused by everyone just singing some bad karaoke songs and just laughing.

Steemgigs is where I found myself. The channel I was in must have had about 60 people all listening to other people singing Karaoke. With all that was happening around me in my home and on my computer, I have to be very honest in the fact I had no idea why I was there.

If you have never met Terry before you would be so surprised by his personality, humor and that he loves karaoke.

After that Surpassinggoogle started to ask me a few questions about myself and Steemit. During the conversation that the other 60 people had to sit through and not be able to sing their karaoke songs, I'm so sorry everyone! I learned that Surpassinggoogle and I think a LOT alike when it comes to Steemit and blogging.

He has started something called #Ulogging. It is something you do once a day on Steemit. You don't worry about anything but doing the best you can as the post is for YOU. It's a bit like a daily diary entry but more.

I would have to say that afternoon had an enormous impact with @snook and she is one of the best examples of a cheerleader for Ulogs.

I have never met anyone as passionate as her when she tries to explain it to people and get them involved.

She made a short video explaining her idea of Ulog and I absolutely loved it and she inspired me to make this contest.

Task:
You will need to create a video explaining what Ulog is to you in your own words. It would be great if you say your steemit name or hold a piece of paper with your steemit name and #ulogger

If you do not want to show your face it is okay, hide behind a mask or do a voice over an image or picture what we want to hear is your voice. It needs to be a video format and so unfortunately no dsound or just a recording can be accepted.

You can create a post using Steemit, Busy, Ulogs, Dtube, Dlive, Youtube or whatever medium you want and just leave the link to this post. Who knows it might get curated.

You can also opt not to make a post and just comment your video here. No required length of time for your video although it would be hard to explain it in 10 seconds.

You can choose to do it in your native language but please have English subtitles in your video if ever.

Once you submit the video you will be giving me rights to edit it.

The contest will run for two weeks and final day of submission would be July 4, 2018.

This contest aims to further expand the reach of Ulogs and create a knowledge base of what we do and what Terry aims to see as part of his teardrops curriculum.
