Butterfly - Macro Photography

Some time last year, I stumbled upon a butterfly perching on something quite different from a flower and leaves. I was surprised as I saw it perching on a stony ground. I guess it found something there. Probably something sweet that it could feast on.

As I tried to take a couple of shots, it kept flapping its wings in delima. It is a beautiful young butterfly with just a few colors on it.
