Motherless Chickens

These little chickens have been without any parental care for days. I was wondering where their mum have left them and went to since last week.

After seeing them without their mum this week again, it dawned on me that something had gone wrong. Probably, their mother is dead or was stolen.

Now they will have to roam around and themselves without any parental care. There were about 10 of them and I hope they all make it through to adulthood.
