No Moon Today

Surprisingly and unexpectedly, the moon didn't show up yesterday. It also didn't appear today and I was left with many questions on my mind unanswered. Could it be that it is taking a break? Or could it be that it's season has elapsed and it has gone for good?

When the moon began this period, it started with a tiny size - more like a one quarter, after some days, it moved into a half moon, then three quarter moon and finally a full moon. I'm not sure the full moon lasted for few days before it decided to give way for darkness.

However, there were still stars up on the sky but it could do little to illuminate the surrounding.
It was almost 7 pm when I took these shots. There were a couple of mixed colors up there and just a single star. Is that light from sunset yet to fade off?

I waited till 10 pm yet there was no moon coming forth.
