Ghana's Plantains
If food is money, then Ghana would be the richest place to be here in Africa and even maybe in the world. It is something we can always boast of. Think of yams, plantains, vegetables, cocoyam, or any other food that you could ever dream of. We have them here always in abundance. The good news is having them all year round. Ghana is one of the few countries with food every time of the year. You could imagine the revenue made by the government from the export of food made in the country. Many thanks to the farmers who put in their effort to ensure food readily available most time.
Take a close look at the photo above to see the beauty that these plantains give the market. This is a market here at Ejura in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. It is a very big market where all food items are sold. l find my way here today and so sharing the experience here with my readers feels so good. This part of the market has only plantains sold but on large quantities. There are other parts of this market where other foodstuffs are sold.
I wish l could take my readers through the entire market today to see the lengths and breadth of it. Most appropriately to showcase the beauty of the Ghanaian market. It is not just here. The Ghanaian market has always presented us beauty beyond compare here on the blockchain.l feel so excited to bring this to your way as always. The interaction and love that buyers and sellers show at the market place are so incredible. Thanks to @dswigle for the initiative to make #marketfriday a wonderful house to live. Buyers buy here on large quantities to be sold at their various destinations in small amounts to consumers. You can imagine the employment that is created at this place also. Drivers get a lot of work to do as they transport all these bought items to the destinations of every buyer or seller. You are invited to pass by if you ever find your way here in Africa
Ghana would be a beautiful place for everyone to experience all this beauty coupled with love and unity. The weekend is already here and so let's celebrate with moderation. COVID-19 is real. Let us stay safe and observe the various safety precautions even as we step into the market. Happy #marketfriday.
Wow!, That is really great. Thanks for sharing with us.
