Summary of Easter Meet Up held at X5 Pub, Kumasi.

This is the day that we have long waited for. It simply came into a reality with the fun that l had anticipated already. Even though many people still look at making the best out of the easter yuletide. Getting prepared for a day like this was all on my mind. And indeed, members of the @steem-ghana community played a significant role in ensuring the planned meetup which was scheduled for today come into existence. The attendance was just okay to have the expected fun and education the day could bring us.

The promotion of steemit is a big and lovely project that l would never want to let go of waste. And so every single activity that involves the promotion of steemit is always at heart. Members today looked simply awesome in their steemit t-shirt looking so good. It is the best promo work that l invite people to undertake. The wearing of steem t-shirt brings people closer to you. This then becomes a great opportunity to share steemit with them.

The just ended meetup took its planning since last week when it was suggested members meet to discuss few things that are of the progress of our community. Moreover, the newbies who have joined lately needed an opportunity to meet some of us who have a better experience on the steem blockchain to assist their growth. These and many reasons gave rise to the planning of the meetup

Arrangements that were made to acter for today's meeting were certainly put into having it done simultaneously at two different places. The places that emerged were a result of the geographical locations of our members. Upon consideration, it was realized that there are lots of people at these two different places here in the country which would not be bad to consider having leaders to control activities at these places. X5 pub at Kumasi was suggested as one of the venues to be supervised by @mcsamm @oppongk @nattybongo and @anaman. The other venue was however supervised by @njaywan and others at Mayaga at Navrongo. All these steemians did play a great role in ensuring the meetup gets its best celebration.

Stage 1

This happened to be the first stage of the meetup which was led by myself with the introduction of attended members. Every present member gave a brief intro about their identity to enable everyone to know someone. This was one of the amazing moments since we all shared joy for seeing the various usernames we have been interacting with. The meeting started with about 14 members after which others joined in at the progression of the meeting.

Members did express their excitement for their presence. I personally got overwhelmed with the many discussions that were rolled for the betterment of everyone and the community as a whole. I admire the effort that the newbies and guests that were invited demonstrated. Indeed we have a task ahead of us since the steem promo work is a project we want to work on.

Stage 2

The meeting was more interactive even as @anaman led us through the many education that members needed. Today's meeting demonstrated that we have a lot of work to do as steemians here in Ghana. Several challenges and procedures were discussed to aid the promo work that we intend to embark upon. The good news is that everyone has a distinctive role to play as an individual to aid the growth we want to see in Ghana.

The presence of steemians like @yawgh @collinz @nattybongo @zicodee and others was more than a motivation for the rest. Let me express so much gratitude to them all for the major role they played today in motivating and encouraging in the delivery of their work on the steem blockchain. This is an exercise that must be encouraged to happen frequently to help others to grow and do more. Below are moments spent at the meetup when various discussions and tutorials were given to members in the various areas they have difficulties on the steem blockchain

Conclusion

I must admit that we have been fed with so many informative plans and directions in dealing with our promo activities. Everyone has a role to play in achieving the people we will share steemit from hence. In the subsequent days, a detail of the meetup today will be well elaborated to handle the various activities and challenges that we face as a community. But we have agreed on the best ways to handle promo work to increase and expand our growth here in ghana. I am hopeful that, if all these plans that have been discussed at today's meetup are well made, many Ghanaians will make steemit their home of social media platform By so doing some of us will possibly see the future that we want steemit to be. I am again grateful to all members who spent time with us in having this meetup successfully done.
