The Ghanaian cuisine; koose
It is one of the food that most people like most here in Ghana. This is not because of the fact that is is available almost throughout the day. But it has a special taste that other foods of its type do not possess. It is called 'koose' in our local language. Koose is a pastry made here in Ghan in different forms. One is what l share today with my readers. People usually take it alongside with porridge. The porridge sellers here in Ghana are usually the sellers of this type of koose. It doesn't really look expensive too.
Koose has its special way of preparation since it is made with eggs as well. The eggs are not mixed with the flour during the frying process but fried different onto the already made koose. It is just in the form of other pastries. Among the few ingredients that are required for its preparation are Fluor, salt, oil, pepper, and eggs. The pepper is made into Fluor and mixed with Fluor which is usually used to make bread. The added salt gives it a salty taste making people like that so much.
Alternatively, koose could be prepared without the pepper but most people prefer to take the very ones with added pepper. Its preparation shouldn't take you more than 15 minutes to get them fried after arranging them into desired shapes when done mixing the ingredients.
You may want to want to try to see how this type of koose tastes. But you certainly will love to have it done. I prefer taking this with a very hot porridge especially in the morning. It looks so appetizing to share. Thanks for taking time to go through one of the foods here in Ghana.

That is very delicious cuisine. Thanks for sharing with us.
