Renaissance freedom

Venice was not my have-to-go place for my summer roadtrip, but I ended passing by the city and decided, that it would be nice to visit it. This photo I took on the San Marco public square. I must say, that Venice is really very nice looking place, although it attracts tons of tourists and it's not a very nice experience walking on the central streets in the daytime. I dont know if in the evenings there are less people, but definitely this was not my dream experience of Venice.

After all it was well deserved to go and experience the Renaissance world and all these boats and gondolas sailing all around the "streets". Actually the boat traffic is pretty awesome on these busy streets, unlikely the smaller between the buildings ones.
