IS THERE STILL HOPE

Tell me if there is hope
When in this darkness I grope
When the blood in my veins cannot further flow
When my breathe cease cos' I freeze in this crazy cold

Sometimes, I wish we couldn’t see beyond
This flimsy façade, the reproach, and the deceit
Sometimes, I wish we couldn’t perceive beyond
This thin brutal cloak o’er my eyes drawn

We live in a place
Where there’s hunger, peril, disasters and death
We live in a land
Where the hope of a common man is shattered.

I’m a citizen in a country
Where animals control the treasury
I belong to a race of people
Who brandish lies with a brazen impunity

My soul is disturbed; my heart heavily laid
My eyes are bedewed when I reminisce about these things
Will you still tell me there is hope?
When this darkness cloud me so bad, my sight gone.

Well written, Hope is on the way if we don't lose it,
