The Diary Game: A Work Full Saturday/ Happy Weekend [14/12/2024]

Hello my good people, how are you doing over here? It's so nice seeing everyone writing beautiful diaries to be very honest, I am gladdened at least we are living the best of our lives and that's just the life we should live. A quick one, let's just talk about my day friends.

This Saturday was supposed to be a resting day for me but for real I was out here grinding. I know I should rest but I rested yesterday which was Friday so today I had to do everything I couldn't do yesterday plus the one I am supposed to do today.

Since I spent Friday night watching movies on my phone, I couldn't woke up early as I planned, I woke up around 10am today, immediately I checked the time, I jumped off my bed, said a brief prayer and left my room. I was about to go outside when I saw my neighbor, she called on me to tell me she was travelling back home for Christmas break, I bid her safe journey then took a selfie of us.

Our compound will be so boring, just me and my Landlord's brother, that's not all, my good friend @etette will be travelling soon leaving me and myself in the compound.

So when I went inside, I reached out to the potatoes I bought yesterday and peeled it then made porridge potato for breakfast. I ate it then took my bath and was set for today's work.

When I was done taking my bath, I dressed and went to my friend's studio so we could continue with the work we'd postponed till today, it was going to be a very long day and believe me, I was so ready for it, I can't sleep a full day and not work the next day like an Ox.

When I reached his place, he was already editing the video, I joined him and we began to work, the laptop was very hot, he told me he used it to attend class throughout the night so we had to let it cool down a bit before it breaks down.

When the laptop had cool down, we began to work again, though he was tired as he has been attending classes through out the night, I didn't blame him, so I had to take on the editing myself while I allow him take a little nap.

By 4pm, he stood up, I was even surprised he didn't rest for long, so he took it from me and we worked till 6pm, I was already very tired, he saw it. So he asked Wes gould stop at episode 8 then probably tomorrow after church service or Monday we continue with the editing.

But I was kind of adamant because I wanted to finish with 10 episodes, we had to outstretch ourselves a little more and we were able to finish up with the 10 episodes target, by 7pm I came back home.

Getting back home, I saw empty pots, I was wondering who ate everything, but then it's only my brother that has access to my apartment, when I called, he told me he did it, I was relieved then I prepared yam so I could eat for dinner.

After eating, I just lied down there sweating, so I took my bath after some minutes of rest. After bathing I just turned on my television to watch old Gospel concerts, after which I took my phone to share my diary with you all and believe me, after this, I will be going to bed and that will be all for today.
