Use What You Got

Hey everyone!
Here are some thoughts on achievement that I am passing along in this video.

Your achievements in life are more dependent on your work ethic than your tools (gear etc). Work as hard as you can, where you are, with what you have. Do not worry about what you don't have. As you have "wins" (successes) you can always move up to better tools/gear. If you do not work on your craft, constantly striving to get better, your gear will not matter.

In this video I am using an inexpensive Overdrive pedal, and doing some improv over a loop. The pedal is nothing special at all, except that it sounds great. There are lots of more expensive pedals out there( I own several) , but if you can't afford them ...well, you can't afford them. :-) And that is my point.

Whether you are a musician, artist, or business person, it is always about developing your talent/craft.

So, work hard on your craft, on your dreams, on your goals. get some successes under your belt first, then worry about your gear.
