BOHOL ISLANDS PHILIPPINES

Bohol is a province fromPhilippine located in the Central Visayas region. Tagbilaran City is its capital and is located west of Cebu island, northeast of Leyte and south of Bohol Sea, from Mindanao.

The province is popular as a tourist destination because of its beautiful beaches and resorts. The Chocolate Hills, is the most fascinating landscape in the province. The Panglao Island, located in the southwestern city of Tagbilaran, is a popular spot and always listed as one of the ten best-selling diving locations in the world. The tarsier, the so-called smallest monkey around the world, is located on the island.
It is the province of the 8th Philippine President, Carlos P. Garcia, who became president of the Philippines (1957-1961), was born in Talibon, Bohol.

The island of Bohol is an oval-shaped meeting, with the average height of the mountains. In the mountains of Bohol are the exceptional types of plants and animals. The island is also part of the province of the hills. In Carmen, Batuan, and Sagbayan are located almost perfect forms of hill called Chocolate Hills. The Chocolate Hills in Carmen, Bohol are said to be one of the natural mysteries of Bohol and often referred to as the Jewel of the Philippines.

Ingkumhan falls in Dimiao Bohol is one the the most visited place that local and international tourist love to visit.

There are also beaches on the island of Bohol with white sand. The most popular of these are the beaches of Panglao Island.
There are four major rivers flowing in Bohol. The Loboc River is the most famous for its sailing boats that are located on the south eastern side of the island.
