"Operation Southern Impact" picks up 82 low-level pedos, & will have NO IMPACT on the billionaire pedo club running the world.
This seems to be the extent of the MAGA crackdown on "human trafficking" AKA "horrific sexual abuse of little children" (as I prefer to call it.) We now have word of another one of these headlines grabbing minor operations TOUTED like TPTB had just arrested the high-level pedos running the governments of the western world and the United Nations.
In fact, as you can see from this link, a lot of these people may have been "just" purveyors of child porn, and not actually even actual abusers (yet) of kids:

Massive?...lol...17 kids have been rescued? That's great...truly. But, what about the other hundreds of thousands still being abused daily as part of the TRULY massive child sex trafficking operations that stretch from coast-to-coast? What about the slap-on-the-wrist sentences that are being dished out to the BIG-TIME BILLIONAIRE ABUSERS?? What about all the well-connected multi hundred-millionaire types that have been fingered, but nothing is even being done to disturb their daily abuse routines??
We know that the rich and powerful believe they have somehow earned the "right" to treat we "useless eaters" in any fashion they wish. But the time to say "NO MORE" is here, and we need more than these occasional announcements of a few arrests of the small fry (intentional appeasement propaganda and not much more) to be followed p with REAL SWEEPS OF THE BIG FISH, and we need that NOW.

I wonder how many of these seventeen rescued kids had been procured/recruitued via so-called "Child Protective" "services" (CPS) ongoing failures? There seems to be (surprise, surprise...NOT) nothing available on line as to that topic.

The Trump administration has shown a real penchant for trumpeting minor "successes" LOUD, OFTEN AND PROMINENTLY, as though they were life-altering events. We've seen this repeatedly in the area of economics and foreign policy (The Norks just launched some more missiles, btw, and China is NOT going to make a deal that matters with regard to trade and intellectual property theft.)
The more we let the administration get away with promoting these little "show ops" like they really mean the "swamp is being drained" (or even threatened,) when the only people being arrested are not even connected to the swamp, the more they will keep doing this-- claiming successes that are illusory and relatively unimportant, while the real perps continue to go about HORRIBLY ABUSING LITTLE CHILDREN.
Just thought I'd point that out.
Oh, and OF COURSE, I am very happy these potential child predators are behind bars, and that those seventeen children are now "safe" (though they're probably in CPS custody--so not truly safe in any way, shape or form.) But, we need to INSIST on much, much more. We're not all that interested in these little operations being trumpeted as major when they are not even really scratching the surface of the problem.
