This is the journey to the finals which has already with 2 matches that has conclude, seeing St. Mary and Mboho alumni team to the next round. This is the second set of matches in the quarter finals section. Airforce will go head to head with Nigeria Christian institute. Airforce topped their group with 4 points while Nigeria Christian institute were the best loser in the tournament with just # points. Airforce alumni team has recorded themselves in the semi finals in each season of Inter Alumni Football Association (IAFA), and the question is can Nigeria Christian institute stop them thus season from going into the last 4. The match was played in annex Field, University of Uyo Akwa Ibom State.

The second match for the day was Bright Star alumni team going against Fortune hign school alumni team. Bright star which has being promising since IAFA friendly tour, with those performance they were tagged as one of the favorites to win the trophy. They have include some young players and one of the old players was appointed as the head coach. The coach having less experience in that field will affect the team performance. The opponents Fortune hign school alumni team ended second in their group with 3 points winning 1 and losing one. In the last edition of IAFA fortune registered inexperienced players and their players were not available base on their own reason. The fortune coach in his last conference said he is targeting the trophy and that the shame he received last edition of the tournament was too much, he has come to use this year own to recovery what he has lost. The match was featured in annex field University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom state.
