My daughter I cannot really talk about, but she is helping keep all of us safe.

What I can talk about she has always been “Daddy’s Girl”. If she had a choice of doing something fun or something she really loved to do, or to be with me doing something, not so fun, she would always choose doing something with her dad.

I am thankful for the many ways for communication over the internet, because being this far away from her, is the most difficult part of being a foreign missionary.

Even after she got older, she asked for me to teach her how to drive a stick or shoot bow and arrow. Not so much that she wanted to learn these things. It was just a reason to be with dad. For a long time, every Saturday she would come over and we would perfect our cheesecake recipe.

She helped me put in my wood floors. I remember when she was about five. My goggles, tweety bird slippers, my blaze orange hunting hat on and some gloves that were way too large for her, all preparation for getting ready to help me work on the house.

She has always excelled in school and in capturing her Daddy’s heart.
