How can I know my faith is growing concerning my Healing?

This scene plays out every day. We don’t feel well, or we notice something like a lump or we are experiencing unusual pain. We go to the doctor and the doctor checks everything and many times will say, “You have chronic asthma”. This could be anything! Cancer, diabetes, migraines, Ulcers, Ulcerative Colitis or many other names or labels concerning our health.

Right away we say to ourselves “I have _________” When we get home we tell our loved ones, “I have ______” Then when we take full ownership we begin to say, “My cancer” “My Sugar” “My ADD”. And the list goes on.

THE TONGUE

Besides our text above. “Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth will speak” There are many other verses in the Bible concerning the power of our tongue.

As our faith grows to be healed, so will our words change.

So many take what the human doctor says and run with it without taking it to Doctor Jesus!

When the doctor tells us what we have, it is like a knock on the door of our home and we open the door and let in the visitor and allow them to become a permanent guest in our home. My sister, my neighbor, my cancer, my Parkinson’s

As our faith grows, the abundance of our heart will begin to say, “I don’t welcome this, I reject it, IN JESUS’ NAME.”

THE TONGUE

Jas 3:2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.

Jas 3:3 Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body.
Jas 3:4 Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.
Jas 3:5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!
Jas 3:6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.

The Tongue like a Rudder on a ship vs 4

Our tongue steers our life. Before we were born again we lived according to the rules of this earthly and natural world.
Now we are citizens of heaven and we need to learn how Heaven’s Kingdom works. It is usually opposite of the ways of the world.

We need to use our tongue to steer our ship (our life) to a new destination. We keep looking at our present circumstance and repeating where we are, not where we want to go. And we wonder why we stay in the same place!

We break our foot and we keep looking at the foot and constantly talking about how long it will take to heal. We need to be looking at Jesus! Concentrate on Jesus! Concentrate on the Word of God and our words will change and we will steer our ship to a new destination.

We have what we say

Mar 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
Mar 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Mar 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

We pray amd then immediately after prayer we say the opposite of what we prayed.

When you have begu to grow in your faith, your words will change.

I am not speaking without also having gone through the struggle of being a believer and also being very sick. I have also been praying and praying and never seemed to improve. I know this is very difficult, but I also believe we were supposed to overcome by faith. We are more than conquerers. If we just listen to our denominational beliefs, or just the opinion of our doctor, we will live a life like everyone else. “But the Just shall live by Faith”.

I would rather go all the way to my deathbed believing and honoring God and His Word, than to go to the grave embracing what Jesus already paid for “By His Stripes we were Healed”.

Mat 12:36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
Mat 12:37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Lets begin to let our words match the Word of God.

I will end this part of this teaching on healing.
God has healed me of incurable diseases, also allergies to bees, chronic asthma, things the doctor could not figure out.
I will not begin to take medicines just because the doctor prescribes such. I see so many people taking so many pills and there is always side effects.

I have seen God open blind eyes, make the lame to walk, bring people out of a coma, cure the incurable.

Every time God Heals, His Name is Honored!
