I was going to move on to the next book of the Bible today, but Isaiah has so much that refers to Jesus that these verses needed to be included here

Even the details of spitting in His face and pulling out His beard. Amazing!

The Love, Faith and obedience to the Father is easily seen in Jesus. In this verse even the Roman scourge was part of the plan of redemption. Jesus many times said that no one could take His life, but that He laid down His life willfully. In our text verse Jesus offered His back to His tormentors. The Bible says, “By His stripes we are healed”, Jesus knew this beating would provide healing for our entire person. Spirit, soul and body.

Joh 10:17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.

1Pe 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Mar 10:34 And they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him: and the third day he shall rise again.
