Pro 18:24 A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

This is my final post in this series. There are many more true stories of Jesus showing Himself to mankind. I believe these occurrences are increasing with time as the time of His return nears. I have read accounts of isolated people groups seeing Jesus and many non Christian groups having a visitation from Jesus.

In my lifetime, since I have been a follower, I have had such encounters with Jesus numerous times. Most of the times such visitations were when I needed Him the most or just before I needed Him. Even on my conversion I saw Jesus. It was at a time in my life that I was not thinking of God. I was not attending religious services, not ever praying, reading my Bible. No thoughts of God ever! This is when He chose to come into my life and present the opportunity to change or salvage my wrecked life.

I am not sure why it was that moment in my life that He visited me. I don’t think it was because I was special, but because He Is. My mother was and is a woman of prayer. It is likely He was responding to her faith. I do know I can always sense His presence and I know in 37 years of following His teachings, He has never let me down. I know He is always there and ir is likely I will see Him again before I die. But one promise is for sure. It is the best promise in the Bible.

1Jn 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
1Jn 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

One day, those of us who follow Jesus, will see Him face to face.

Rev 21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
Rev 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
