I think I am ready to give up on cryptosteemCreated with Sketch.

I have kept my hopes up all this time but right now I honest don't see a way forward for cryptos. Decentralization is not as great as everyone makes it sound. One mistake and you can lose it all. There's no authority that you can approach. That is if you can reach any level of decentralization. We have already seen what went down in Steem Sun saga. On top of that this space is ripe with scams, I don't worry about my money in trading accounts like I do for my crypto accounts.

I did not put in lot of money into crypto, and hopefully I can break even.

You are right, crypto have feet of clay (I'm not sure how to say, I'm speak english not well), but sometimes you can get some money.
But it's not for living for you and me. But crypto developer can earn a lot.

i have a 6 figure stocks portfolio and 4 figure crypto and I am spending way too much time on cryptos. I guess cleaning this all up will free up lot of my time.

Well, funny enough I worry about scams too and had been writing about one. But the addresses are not rigged and if you send money from exchanges they generally do get to their intended destinations. All the support staff I have dealt with were helpful and genuine. It is the 'common guy' that you should be wary of. The ones that feels cryptos owe them something and that it is someone's fault they missed out. I'd say take a break and then come back to it. Decentralisation may not be such a big thing with you but how about sending and clearing payments in a faster way than the banks do them? That is a thing surely. #CleverBlockchain ... ^^
