The design of the new Samsung Galaxy S9 is completely filtered in its two versions

in #technology8 years ago

This 2018, as every year, we expect a new member for Samsung's Galaxy S family. The company is expected to present the new Galaxy S9 in February, but the latest leaks give us a detailed look at its design and features in its two versions.

The Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9 + have been filtered in all their glory. The most notable difference between the two is its size, with the S9 + being slightly larger, but the second version also has a dual camera system on its back, following the trend that the company adopted from the Note 8.

The rear design of the S9 and S9 + places the fingerprint reader under the camera, which could facilitate its access for the user. In the Galaxy Note 8 the company chose to separate the fingerprint reader from the camera by placing the flash system in between, to avoid accidentally placing the user's finger on the camera instead of the reader. Locating the sensor under the camera in S9 could be just as effective.

The leaks also reveal the frontal aspect of the S9 and the S9 +, and it is just as we might expect: a panel starring the screen with just frames in which the sensors are located.

Samsung could present the Galaxy S9 at its own event in February, to go on sale a couple of weeks later. It is expected to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor (or a Samsung Exynos) accompanied by between 4 and 6 GB of RAM, and fortunately for many will continue to have a headphone port.
