BETTER LIFE | THE DIARY GAME | 30APR2024 | 📖📘 Finished a whole book in just a day 📘📖

Woke up around 5:45 AM when my alarm went off. Like I do when I wake up, I turn off our air-conditioning and then feed my brothers cat. After that I just opened the book that I'm reading yesterday. I did not do my workout today as I still fill not doing it. I'm not motivated enough to do any of my workouts. I also did not take my morning walks as the running shoes that I have is already giving up. I don't want to add some more damage to it as I still need some shoes when we go out.

Around 9:10 AM I cooked us our rice and then took a bath. After that I then cooked some chicken franks and my sister cooked a chicken stew kind of viand.

After we ate, I just continued to read the novel that I was reading. I also made myself a cup of coffee before continuing my reading. My sister is also reviewing in our dining table for her quiz this coming Thursday.

Later that night we reheated some of the food that we had this morning.

I can't believe I finished this book in just a day. In the past it took me 2-3 days in reading a book, that is if the story of the novel is really interesting and no boring. My longest read of a book is at least 2 weeks of reading it. I still have some pending books in my book shelf.

The story of 'The Glass Magician' was really interesting. The setting of the story is in 1905 in New York, but the story started in Philadelphia, where the main characters, which are Thalia and are a magic act in a traveling circus. The first magic that they did in the story is called 'Siege Perilous', which is an act where she is tied and chained lock into a chair which has a sharp sword pointing downwards the chair that she's on. She has a limited time to go off the chains and break free before the sword take her life. There was a little problem with one of the cuffs that was put in her hand resulted into revealing some hidden secret that was kept from her.
I urge you to get a copy of this book as it is really interesting and kind of trilling to read. I might actually read some of the other books that the author made because of this.
