Ciao a tutti amici e amiche di Italy e di Steemit.
Si parla sempre di adozione di massa delle criptovalute come se fosse solo una questione di tecnologia o di regolamentazioni.
Ma se stessimo guardando la cosa dal lato sbagliato? 🤔
Secondo un dirigente di Galaxy Digital, una delle forze più potenti che potrebbe spingere davvero le crypto nel mainstream è qualcosa di molto più semplice: il trasferimento generazionale della ricchezza. (Rif.)
Oggi la maggior parte del patrimonio globale è nelle mani dei baby boomer.
Parliamo di immobili, azioni, fondi, risparmi accumulati in decenni di economia fiat.
Ma queste ricchezze, prima o poi, cambieranno proprietario.
E quando passeranno ai più giovani, non è affatto scontato che verranno reinvestite nello stesso modo.
Le nuove generazioni sono cresciute con Internet, app, wallet digitali e pagamenti istantanei.
Per loro Bitcoin non è una cosa strana: è solo un’altra forma di denaro.
Non sorprende infatti che i giovani detengano crypto in percentuale molto più alta rispetto agli investitori più anziani.
Questo cambia completamente la prospettiva!
Non serve convincere i boomer a comprare Bitcoin.
Serve solo che, nel tempo, la ricchezza passi di mano.
E quando succede, cambiano anche le priorità: meno fiducia cieca in banche e intermediari, più interesse per asset digitali, self-custody e sistemi alternativi alle valute fiat.
Ci pensate... l’adozione delle crypto potrebbe non esplodere perché tutti diventano improvvisamente visionari, ma perché i soldi finiscono nelle mani di chi già usa questo mondo.
È un processo lento, silenzioso, ma potentissimo.
Ed è probabilmente uno dei motivi per cui, nonostante tutto, Bitcoin continua a essere sottovalutato.
Il vero cambiamento non sarà tecnologico, ma generazionale!

But sooner or later, this wealth will change hands.
And when it passes to younger generations, it’s far from guaranteed it will be reinvested in the same way.
Younger generations grew up with the internet, apps, digital wallets and instant payments.
For them, Bitcoin isn’t something strange - it’s just another form of money.
It’s no surprise that younger investors hold crypto in much higher percentages than older ones.
This completely changes the perspective.
We don’t need to convince boomers to buy Bitcoin.
We just need, over time, for wealth to change hands.
And when that happens, priorities change too: less blind trust in banks and intermediaries, more interest in digital assets, self-custody and systems outside the fiat world.
Think about it… crypto adoption might not explode because everyone suddenly becomes a visionary, but because money ends up in the hands of people who already live in this world.
It’s a slow, quiet process - but a powerful one.
And it’s probably one of the reasons why, despite everything, Bitcoin is still underestimated.
The real change won’t be technological, but generational.
