A true Triumph

Roman12:21 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. There are those who think that revenge, for example, is a triumph.

When we have been victims of some bad action or some kind of injustice, and we are presented with the opportunity to collect that bad play, then we believe that we are succeeding.

But nothing is further from reality, since this is not the move of God. The bible says not to let ourselves be overcome by bad things, but rather to overcome evil with good. Vengeance should not be ours.

Romans 12:19 Do not avenge yourselves, my beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God; because it is written: Vengeance is mine, I will pay, says the Lord. If for some reason we have suffered injustice or have been given inhuman treatment, it is valid that we feel anger at the moment, but we must reconsider and not let this happen to greater terms.

It is our duty to place this in the hands of God, that it be He who takes control of that situation and pays each one according to their actions. Remember that just as we have been personified, we must also forgive, and we must also take into account that many of these actions are allowed by God to form our character. Let's look with spiritual eyes, and begin to work on this, to do good things, to practice them daily.

If someone for some reason gave us a bad answer, do not contradict that person, but rather, respond with love, as the bible says, a kind response calms anger. Let us be among those who return good things for bad and we will see the favor of God acting in our lives.
