Mindblast Battle Report : No Time for Rest
Ant-Miner is one of the few new monsters that I really love. This monster can really be effective in battle if you position him at last of mid as he get stronger every time there will be a monster eliminated in battle either in your side or on your enemy side. It has only minimal melee attack but if you have melee attack buffs that could helped strengthen him then you might able to achieve the best possible results you can get out of this monster.
And if ever you make it to level up him some more at least level 6 then you will able to unlocked his Shield skill which can be a good addition to its initial skill. The best part here is that he is not that expensive monster in terms of mana cost as you can summon him with even 2 mana only.
Details of Battle
In this battle, there is no battle modification so that means we can able to do all-out battle with our monsters. In my side I used Fire Splinter as I am aiming on the offensive side while my opponents wishes to go for defensive. I put my Gelatinous Cube in the first position as I am working on have it standing still while my back monsters will able to do their thing.
In my opponent side, there is Gloridax Soldier that ha shield ability where I bet that he could be a good frontline that is why my opponent choose to put him in the job. In my second position is Fineas Rage which has a reach ability that can attack in second position.
I then put my Furious Chicken in third position to take in charge of protecting my Ant-Miner and my Goblin Shaman that needs to developed more in order to make use of them efficiently. For my Ant-Miner in the fourth position to give him more time to stack more health points in order for him to be more solid when the time comes that it will become the first position monster.
In my fifth position is my Goblin Shaman which can helped lessen the life points of enemy monsters while dealing magic attack to targeted enemy monsters and lastly Kobold Miner who is in-charge of taking down those enemies that is positioned last.
Enemy's second position is Shadowy Presence which has a good high points while in its third position is Undead Priest which concentrates on decreasing my monsters life points. In fourth position, its range type monster which I consider a threat as it has 3 ranged damage attack. In its last two is Undead Archer and Scale Doctor who has both 1 range attack.
My Line Up
In my first position, I put Gelatinous Cube as it has a solid stand since it has both Scavenger and high life points. I am sure that it would be difficult for my opponent to destroy this monster.
In my second position is Fineas Rage as I am sure that it can be a good and effective monster since it has reach ability. It has better speed which can attack much faster from behind.
In third position, I put Furious Chicken as it can be reliable to take in-charge of protecting and buying some time to make those back monster of mine developed their potential capability especially my Ant-Miner.
In fourth position is my Ant-Miner as I am sure that it can be a powerful monster the time it will be standing in first position.
In my fourth position there goes my Goblin Shaman as it can help throw some magic damage while decreasing the life points of all my enemy monsters, making it much more easier to defeat.
And lastly, Kobold Miner who has Sneak ability who is in-charge of targeting those monsters that are at the back that has mostly no shield at look. A good way to little by little eliminate the enemies.
The Battle
At the start of Round 1, my Fire Splinter Summoner immediately boosts the melee attack of all my melee type monsters making them good to go for hunting. While the enemy Summoner make sure that they could prepare the possible attack as it boosts the armor of all enemy monsters.
My Goblin Shaman decreases the life points of all the enemies while his Undead Priest do the same to my monsters as well. His Scale Doctor boosts the life points of all his monsters.
My Gelatinous Cube really been in a big trouble as it was the center of many attack and those attack are quite big to acquire and aside from that my Gelatinous Cube was not able to do any single heal as his Undead Archer making sure that those skill will never be used. My Gelatinous Cube was eliminated in Round 2.
With Fineas Rage in charge, I am sure that it can face the Gloridax Soldier but it would be quite difficult as it has Shield ability which deducts inflicted damages coming from my Fineas Rage.
The best thing that happens into this battle as my Fineas Rage really been dodging most of those attacks. It gives me more time to have my other monsters to do the attacking as well.
My Kobold Miner then eliminate Scale Doctor which leads to the elimination of the active buff towards all my enemy monsters. After that my Goblin Shaman deals the needed damage towards his frontline which helps eliminate as well.
My Fineas Rage did last long as his Fire Spitter eliminates it as several attempts which now replaces with my Furious Chicken. which is instantly eliminate as well.
Both my Kobold Miner and my Goblin Shaman helped the damages as my Ant-Miner do the tanking. Eliminates all the enemies in the process.
My Analysis
My Ant-Miner is slowly improving its health points making it more solid in the later rounds. While my Kobold Miner and Goblin Shaman helped me win the game.
