Rare lily

Martagon lily:

This rare flower is under strict protection here in Poland. I have it in the garden only because the place where it originally grew is now road.

In the garden it can easily disappear among other flowers as it is not very tall nor bright, it does not come in big packs either, but in nature it is something that immediately catches the eye.

Regular lilies for comparison:

While normal lilies are plentiful and easy to breed, martagon only managed to produce a single offspring so far in couple years. No wonder they are rare...
