Bunny Land Around my Home

We live in a wooded area, and we are always seeing some wildlife around. However this is why we can't take the trash out the night before collection day. The garbage goes onto the driveway first thing in the morning. Otherwise there would be a major mess to clean up on our driveway. That's never fun.

The one animal we see hopping around the most is the rabbit. They are constantly near our home. They visit us in the backyard even during the winter. My dog goes on attack mode when he sees them. That's why we never let him into the backyard when the bunnies are visiting.

Yesterday as I was pulling out of the driveway there was one bunny sitting on the front lawn just checking things out. He or she seemed healthy and not injured. The rabbit was just there and I took the opportunity to capture a photo. I got out of my car and just did that.

It's not the best photo but it's the one I was able to get, then went back into the car and took off.

It's neat living in a wooded area for so many reasons. It's away from the craziness from the city, and living among nature is quite peaceful. The bonus in this case is that we have our privacy. There are no nosey neighbours who are trying to get into your business. And you have a good look at the critters that are bouncing around the area.
