Tebasaki Bancho

So I went out to one of my favorite street food places to grab some of the good wings and also to enter the tasteem street food contest. Upon reading before posting it might actually qualify as a franchise so I decided to err on the side of caution and not enter but it’s good enough to tell you about it.
Tebasaki Bancho is ideally located in AmeMura (American village) Osaka. AmeMura is the hip hop strip in Osaka. The clothing stores , the clubs st night and the cars all reflect the American hip hop lifestyle.

This corner shop opens at about 6:00 in the evening and closes at about 2:00 am. Tebasaki in Japanese means chicken wings so it goes without saying - they are the chicken people.
The wings are simple in preparation. You can have salt and pepper or sauce. I like the salt and pepper most times.

You can enjoy your wings with hash browns or French fries. I decided to get hash browns as the Fries serving is a bit much too much for one person.
There is a small bench to sit and wait for your food while you enjoy the music that they play which is always seems to be reggae when I go.
If you decide to stand around and eat you can wash your hands - hygiene is everything to me.
They don’t handle any money - you enter your money into the machine and select your orders- you then hand your ticket to the cook.
A lot of locals and visitors alike stop by to grab their chicken and snacks - you can even have a corona right there.
If you wish you could pop by the bridge and enjoy the sites as you devour your wings,
It’s also a spot where a lot of tourist pass by on Mario looking bikes dressed in costumes.
If you are ever in the area - do catch some wings and tings. It’s the only one I know of in Osaka but there could be others elsewhere.
