The Diary Game [16/08/2024] Alone at the shop with too much workload

Good morning my beloved steemians across the globe, happy weekend to everyone here, I wish you well in your doings. I'm excited to be here this morning to share with you how my yesterday daily routine went.

HOW I SPEND MY YESTERDAY

At the shop

Yesterday was a very stressful day for me, as I got to work that morning I meet my senior colleague in the shop doing sewing, everywhere was so untidy piece Of fabric littered everywhere and yet she felt so comfortable sitting on a dirty place without minding.

I just took a broom and started sweeping the whole shop and the surrounding, when she saw me doing that, her guilty conscience couldn't let her be, she said "oh Love I'm sorry that I didn't sweep, just that I wanted to work.on this woman dress since she is coming to collect it today" i was just concentrating on my sweeping.

After I was down sweeping, I gathered the dirt and put them into the trash bag.

As I finished with the sweeping, she started sending me on errand, to help iron some fabrics for her. As I was on it my madam came around and she was looking so confused and a kind of stress, that was because she has an urgent delivery to make today Saturday and the dress style is so demanding, and it requires multiple hands to help finished the job but here in the shop it was only me that came to work, whereas two of my colleagues took permission to be absent from work that yesterday.

So my madam confusion was how she will be sending me all the errands in the shop alone, but I was ready to work, so I told her that I will be at her service, she laughed 🤣.

Firstly, she ask me to go to the market and buy some sewing items for the dress we are to make, so I did that sharpenly and returned back to the shop in no time.

As I came back it was already afternoon, my madam showed me the work I'm to do for her but before I started the work she asked me to eat first before I can begin it, since the work will take time and I that she doesn't want me to have divided attention while doing the work.

After eating I was now ready to start my assigned job, when I saw the job I was thinking it's just an easy thing that I will finish within a twinkle of an eye but I didn't know that, this job wasn't for the faint hearted.

The job was to carve out design from a fabric and gum it to another plain material and sew. So after carving out the design I will have to use A-stare to stare the design first before my madam can be able to use it on the other plain material.

I was able to carve out so many design out, then my madam ask me to start staring those ones first, so I proceeded with staring the design.

That wasn't an easy work at all because I was using iron on gas cooker since there's no electricity in my state for the past 4 days now and the cost of buying fuel to put in the generator is not an easy thing.

After eat the groundnut, I continue on my work, I worked till the 7pm in the evening, every place was dark, I was now using the torch from my phone to see what i was doing.

I have never stayed in the shop till that time of the night , I had to stay and help my madam fix up the dress since there was no other person to do that.

When it was 7:30pm, I told my madam that I will be going home, she was so worried but I assured her of coming to help her out the next today, whereas I don't always go to work on weekend, but for the sake of helping her deliver the clients dress I will forfeit my house chores and other activities and go assist her in the shop.

Before I left she asked me to go buy her fuel just 1 liter, to use and see road to sew small. After getting her the fuel, then I packed my bag and went back home.

As I got to the house, I freshened up and look for what to eat, since my phone was below 10% I couldn't snap it or make a post that night.

I went to bed immediately because I needed to get some maximum rest, that was all about my yesterday, thank you very much for reading to the end.
